No you can't. The codes work on different eshops in different currencies, and are not interchangeable.

It's sometimes possible to change your region to that of the code, and use the voucher then, but doing so wipes any credit that you had on the original region.

The above works for sterling vouchers in euro regions, but I don't know if it'd work for an entirely different part of the world.

I'll confirm again. No you can't use US eShop codes with any other region Wii U.
And vice-versa.
