ecksor set up the security forum waaaaay back when.

it fell into decline and eventually got shelved and prepared for mothballs.

much later on, myself and Koolkid came to the same conclusion separately at the same time and on the same day sent PMs to the Cmod offering to step in as mods of Security.

Ecksor was contacted and asked if he'd like to come back. he declined but seeing as he was a legacy I wanted to keep his name on the forum door.

Since that time, the forum has *almost* been reborn with some fantastic posts and some really interesting discussions - a few more like the one on Prism wouldn't go too far astray - I've always preferred to think of a security forum as a place for discussion and not just "free advice!".

With the inclusion of Khannie, it seemed as good a time as any to take ecksor off the listing, if only to show that a lot has changed in the last year

the only posts deleted were those posted by a serial re-reg troll that , while they may have posted some decent links in this forum, were acting like a dick elsewhere and they got banned.

amazing that some posters honestly believe that they have a right to post crap on someone else's site and then when they get banned sign up with a different account and use a proxy and do it all over again.

personally, I prefer to give benefit of the doubt and if a re-reg doesn't return to their original form, they can stay around. One bad post, one spammed link though, and they'll get sitebanned without any prior warning and we can start all over again.
