    anyone here remember this science-fiction series from the late 70s/early 80s? It was one of my first introductions to sci-fi

    I do indeed, only limited memories now of it from the '80s. I have now started whistling the theme tune.

    IIRC it was on Wed@6pm on BBC2, Tweekie was the robot, & Hawk was half human/half Hawk.

    I remember an ep on where he played opposite an evil version of Erin Gray on the show & found out it wasnt her as she was too nice afaik :P

    It's shockingly dated now though. Saw an episode a while back. Erin Gray was absolutely stunning alright.

    If always played second fiddle to Blake's 7 for me. Now that was a classic, never could figure out if Avon was truly a bad egg or not....

    Come to think of it, there used to be a guy up the road from me called 'Buck' Rogers so called as he flew/made his way home from the pub at nights on his Honda 50 :P
