VAT refund for final year student

Hey all,

I am an exchange student here and I'm planning to get a digital piano. I am leaving the country by February and I was wondering if I'll be entitled to a VAT refund when I ship my piano to outside the EU? I know Ikea does VAT refunds for purchases shipped out of the EU within three months, but do other places, when it involves 800 quid?

depending on the retailer you may not have to pay VAT at all.
