A relative pays Sky €25 per month for their TV subscription, single box only, not sure what package. Am I likely to get any discount if I call and suggest cancelling? They've been with Sky several years and are long out of contract.

Thanks, maybe I should be more specific in my question, how much is the discount likely to be?

Have a read of the thread on Bargain Alerts on this.

In short yes you probably will get a 20% discount for 6 to 9 months if your out of contract.
Tell them you want to cancell because you cant afford it,dont accectp their first offer you will be offered a second offer.

Just be aware Sky will only talk to the account holder. Make sure your relative confirms with Sky that you can talk on their behalf.
