cloning software and windows activation

    Currently I have 2 agility 120GB in raid 0 and am switching to a 250gb evo. However I used the Samsung data migration tool and windows is now showing as not activated. It's a a windows 8 machine with media centre (i.e. I can't see the actual activation code anymore)

    The agilities still show as activated if I go back to them though and with the evo it says there have been to many unlocks if I try to activate it.


    so anyone got any suggestions?

    the problem is I installed the 'free' media centre add-on, however at the time I didn't know that this altered the windows activation code stored and so you no longer get the actual activation code from tools like that
