You can just turn up- not sure about live scoring.

The wind must be blowing it up out there judging by the scores.

Some fella is in with a 66- 4 clear after day 1.

Always interesting to see how pro's destroy my home course when I can't bloody break 30 pts at the minute!!!

That some fella is Michael McGeady, he won a challenge tour event in '08 and I remember him almost winning the co-sanctioned Madeira Islands open in '09/'10 but made a balls on the back 9!

Some great players on show, would love if it was on in Cork:D

Just back from watching an hour of it. These boys operate at a different level I tells ya- their drives were huge off back tees and putting distance control was great to watch.

What is the situation with the crowds, roped off or Walker cup style?

Walk as you like! Most groups have no one following them and most I saw walking with one group was 4- but it is only Friday!

Interesting to see was the strategy of one guy on a long par 4 (3rd hole if you know the course)
It's a tough enough hole as ob is right and a fairway bunker left- clear the bunker and it opens up nice and wide for the approach to green.
He hit an iron when I assumed it would always be a driver off back tees to get to the widest part of fairway-It didn't look as if he suffered for the iron iron strategy either as he cleared bunker by about 20 yds.

Also interesting was how behind two groups I saw from the group in group in front of them- more than a full hole- maybe the gap between groups on first tee was bigger than normal 8 or 9 mins.

Judging by the scores posted so far- conditions are tough.

Its all set up for a great final round tomorrow. I wouldnt be surprised to see Colm Moriarty surge tomorrow.

None. The hotel was empty, a few in the bar when it was early evening, but I thought there would be more of a buzz tbh.
