The 08:14 train from Donabate Train Station to Sydney Parade and the number 47 bus should get you there for about 09:30. However the 47 isn't very freuent and is prone to disruption at Sydney Parade.

Alternatively, get the 07:57 to Pearse, head up to Luas (Or get the 15 bus from Connolly to Harcourt.) and then walk again - about 15 minutes from Kilmacud or Stillorgan Luas).

Put your exact locations and relevant dates and times into www.a-b.ie and tweak the settings.

Google maps has it as being 35 minutes on the M1 & M50, but that is in the middle of the afternoon with little traffic. I'd give yourself at least an hour, as all the traffic going into and out of the Sandyford Industrial estate at that time of the morning, can cause back ups at that end. You haven't said what hospital or where in Sandyford it is. Do you mean the Beacon Clinic? If you do, I'd add in 10 mins to find parking. If it were me, I would leave Donabate no later than 8.45am

Yeah it's the beacon , I didn't think there were any other hospitals out there tbh

Thanks ! I commute regularly to Maynooth so I've a fair idea of the traffic on the M50 up as far as the M4 exit , good to know it's not as bad as I feared !

It takes me between 30 mins and an hour to get to redcow from Lusk, definitely slower on Tue-Thur.

Last week was faster, 45 mins tops, but the fortnight before was an hour every day.

    Leaving Lusk at 7:30-7:45
