So to follow on from the 'What 3DS games are you looking forward to?' I thought I would start one for the Wii U since there might a a few games some of us are not aware of on the horizon, be is physical disc games or on the Eshop.

I'm looking forward to Sonic Lost World out on the 18th Oct, Mario 3D World (actually a little bit excited for this game ;-) on the 29th Nov and I am thinking of getting the new Mario and Sonic Olymics game too, looks very pretty and different from previous M&S at the Olymics games since there is ONLINE play so I dont have to rope 3/4 other people into playing the game with me lol. I think its out on the 8th Nov?

Eshop wise, Shovel Knight when that comes out, not too sure of a date yet.

Any other Eshop and disc games I should have my eye on that are coming out in the next 3/4 months?

What are you looking forward to?

PS: Bayonetta 2 and MK8 and SSB4 are listed for sometime in 2014, thats still a while away.

I won't be getting either of the two new consoles so that's why they're on my list. Mario Kart and Sonic would be there too but I'm not feeling the Mario 3D love yet.

I would love for the COD community to be there but none of us here even play together

Haven't played CoD in a while but mostly played it with the n-Europe.com gang (there were a lot more of them playing). Will be doing the same for this CoD unless we can get some gang going here though.

    Super Mario 3D World,
    Wii Sports on the eShop
    Possibly Wii Party

Wasn't really feeling Sonic Lost Worlds when I tried it at eurogamer even though i was looking forward to it :( Gonna wait for them to hopefully release a demo, or for it to drop in price

Aww no, really? I'm looking forward to it this Friday, but, what was it that put you off it at Eurogamer?

Won't be day one purchases but I plan on getting

    Mario 3D World
    Sonic

    and maybe:
    Watch Dogs
    Arkham Origins

I'm not an online gamer so lack of online multiplayer doesn't bother me.

Will probably get the Wii Fit Meter as well to unlock Wii Fit U

    Shovel Knight looks pretty awesome.
Unlikely to buy anything day 1, but I'm interested in Bayonetta 2, the Mario and Mariokart games, Batman AO, possible Watchdogs... but if it turns out any of them don't support Off-TV play they get dropped. Have a couple of off-TV games and they just don't get played at all. Is there any word on the release of Grand Theft Downton? That I could play.

Grand Theft Downton sounds like an interesting concept. A whole new take on the tv series.

It's going to be awesome. You play as Mr. Carson, starting out as a footman and working your way up to underbutler and eventually head butler by ordering around maids, pouring wine and gently interfering in the family's affairs. If your health is low you have to brutally beat Mr Bates until health packs come out of his bleeding carcass. Then, as post-game content, you can knock up one of Lord Grantham's daughters and try to make that difficult transition from downstairs to upstairs. It's optimised for WiiU because there's a button in the middle of the touchscreen that let's you say "very good ma'am" without having to open the dialog sub-menu.

I'll assume they're all actual titles and names from the series.:)

Though I'm kinda hoping the Mr. in Mr Bates stands for Master. :D

Might've been the level I chose, heard reports from some that the demo was iffy but the game is way better.
The level was pretty quick, getting into it...then there was a part that felt if it was on rails..if that makes sense. you were basically running straight down the platform, then moving either left or right to avoid obstacles. It got to a part that was pretty quick and you had to move to switch platforms, then avoid walls, repeat, then end up upside down and avoid more stuff, etc. I'll try to find a video later, but I literally died 15 times straight on that part because of literally everything  I'm not sure whether it was me being crap at the game, not being able to handle the angle switching when moving left/right (it was janky) or something else but it changed my outlook on the game :P

I mean hopefully there's not similarly cheap levels elsewhere in the 1st game, but I'm gonna research it a tad more 1st.

Ah, that doesn't sound too good, and the embargo hasn't been lifted on the game yet for reviews, that's never a good sign to me if the game is out in 2 days.....

Anyway, it seems Sonic LW is €40 for the Wii U version in Smyths, not sure if thats just online price or if in-store also.

Shovel Knight looks deadly, that coming out before the end of the year?

I supported a Kickstarter there last week for Hyper Light Drifter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1661802484/hyper-light-drifter?ref=email last week, think its out in June 2014 but looks awesome!

Maybe not Watch Dogs then. :)
Wonder if amazon are going to drop the price of Arkham at all. I just realised that it's not out until a couple weeks after the other platforms as well.

Should be instore as well since their online and instore prices are always the same. at least meant to be
