So Nintendo have launched an online store
    http://store.nintendo.co.uk/home.dept

Looks like they have the Zelda Collectors edition as well as the Mario/Luigi console mentioned previously.

Delivery to UK only so Parcel Motel will be needed.

UK only AND at those prices? (yeah I know they have to charge RRP but still)

May be interesting if they actually get exclusives like they stated...

Yeah I would probably get the Zelda special edition from them. The strange thing is though is since buying from Nintendo why would it be the same price as Game considering I'm sure Game includes markup.
I guess it's more to do with what was also said before about how they don't want to compete with retail partners but this way it's an option to buy *raise hands and extend arms in front* directly from Nintendo.

Be nice if they implement the account system to enable us to purchase digital games through their site as well as the eShop

They have the WiiU Fit monitor jobbie that - based on the blurb in the US at least - unlocks the fully featured WiiU Fit demo indefinitely so long as you pair it to the game between November and January

At least with the Nintendo shop having stock of the Ganondorf (or Ganon, if you're that way inclined) statue is that for a while at least it puts the kibosh on the ridiculous prices that were starting to crop up on eBay - presumably while they'll never stoop below RRP, they'll also never go above RRP either.

Seems it's being run by The Hut, not a completely separate thing!

But with some items more expensive than The Hut's actual site...:P

Yeah, the Wii Fit U is a fully featured month long trial and this removes the time limit. So get the full thing minus the board for £30 cheaper than game and meter retail, going by Amazon prices.

And I believe Ganon is the beast form of Ganondorf. Or the other way around. :)

wouldnt mind getting that collectors edition of windwaker tbh

having played windwaker and mario and cod on this console i think the xbox one and ps4 could have stiff competition IF nintendo market this console correctly..

imo the wii u is a beast and the gamepad is awesome

    I know.
But I didn't want to kick the argument off again, I'm trying to be accommodating :)

Looks like the shop also has new stock of the Animal Crossing-themed 3DS XL. If you know anyone who's down in the dumps because they have their heart set on that 3DS but the silly prices it fetches on eBay and elsewhere put the console out of reach, then it would be very easy to put a smile on their face by emailing them a link to this new store :)

I thought it looked like a hut site, but there was no "we are the hut" messages on the screen.
You just guessing or you know they're running it for a fact?
