A lot of the shops are looking for Christmas staff. Maybe check their websites or contact their HR departments for information.

Try LinkedIn. It's a good place to network and their jobs section is decent. Just make sure you put plenty of work into your profile and read some advise pages on how to present it. If you know other people on it, be sure to add them to your network and don't be afraid to ask them to endorse some of your skills.

Good luck with the job hunt!

Have a walk around the town you live in/near. Hand in CVs and ask to be considered for any upcoming posts. Also take a look in windows of local shops/cafes/shops etc as often there can be signs looking for staff saying apply within.
