Hey Ive just started running in the last 4 weeks to loose some flab and made 10k in half decent time a goal. At the moment stumbling around a few different bits of advice ive seen online. I used to cycle alot but never done any sort of running and have done no exercise worth mentioning in years bar the odd game of football. Im using endemondo to track my pace and seem to be getting new pbs every week slowly . My best times are 1k is 4:05 1 mile 7:05 3k 13:42 3m 23:12 5k 24:05 . Ran 6.5k in 33.29 thats the longest ive ran so far. I can only run tuesday - fri and maybe the odd monday so I dont know should i be taking a break or run all days I can. At the start i was slowing to a walk every now and then but have stopped that but I read interval training can be good? Does anyone have a rough plan? At the moment im running a long run on tuesday say 5k or 6k , then a short fast 3k and then a normal 4.5k
