    Same advice as always. Shop around, get at least 3 quotes and ensure you are comparing like with like.
    Insist on a call out and proper survey, this will eliminate surprise extras.
    Get everything in writing including what's covered with monitoring and maintenance fees etc. If your going for a maintenance contract down the line check if all calls are covered. Some try to limit these to one or 2 calls a year and charge you after that.
