    Hey guys,
Was wondering if I could get some advice on foundation brands. I'm currently using Estee Lauder double wear(not every day) but coming into winter now it's going to be way too drying for my skin, I'm looking for one that's really moisturising with good coverage but doesn't have any of those light diffusing particles because they seem to irritate my skin!
Any info would be very appreciated!
    Cheers :)

If you really like EL DW then why not change your daytime moisturiser to one that is heavier or add a serum to your skincare routine during the winter months.
Alternatively you could also get a sample of Double Wear Light to try with your existing moisturiser.
I hope that has been if some help. If you let me know what skin type you are then I should be able to advise you a bit better.

Theres some great advice in the thread I made on Cystic Acne! I know that's probably not a problem for you at all, but my problem was foundation drying out my skin, it all rolling off in no time, or my skin flaking other days! .........I got some great advice on foundations and skin care there if you wana check it out!
P.S, someone suggested your foundation to me there, havent tried it, but I find Rimmel Stay Matte great!...you just need to focus on a good skin routine!...and then any foundation will be grand!!

Another big fan of ELDW, but like that I find it too heavy for everyday wear as it wrecks my skin.
I now use my usual moistureiser, smash box primer, and the no 7 stay perfect foundation and concealer. Its very buildable, so some areas get more coverage thatn others as needed. The main thing though is the no 7 translucent setting powder. I give a good dusting after and it sets the makeup lovely. Its definitely a lighter finish than the ELDW, but it does for a lovely fresh day time face.
