Just noticed a hairline crack (about 2 to 3 cm in length) on the upper right of the face of my Nike covert 3 wood, its about 1 cm down from the top of the face. Got the wood as a present, bought in Golfstyle Galway and doubt the receipt is kickin about. Is there anythin that can be done or should i change the head, or maybe even just leave it?

How old? If it has a serial number on it you may not need a receipt...

Any chance you may have paid by Visa/Mastercard. Your statement would be as good as a receipt.

6 months old and only used a handful of times, now the crack is small but from what ive read it will get bigger and ruin the club eventually, and from all other clubes ive seen its definitely a crack cause there should not be any jagged lines on a club face, dont think the receipt is gonna be a big deal hopefully, rang them there and looks like it will go back to nike for repair or be replaced

I'd bring it back, I had the head split on the head of my callaway FT9 a few years ago. Brought it back to golfstyle and they sent it back to callaway for me who in turn replaced it with a new one.

+1, Serial number was all that was required, apology and new driver from Callaway in the past (and they picked up the club from the house and delivered the new one too at their cost!!!)

Wow! Talk about good after sales service, brought them in the club and within a minute Declan had a new wood pulled off the shelf and was like sorry about that, well impressed. Didn't need a receipt or anythin.

Thats the way it should be. It was no bodies fault just the product wasn't up to standard. Bet you'll go back if you need anything else.

No surprise there for me, that's exactly how they are anytime I've dealt with them.
