The pilot unfortunately died, but well done to the passenger

I think thats the gamble in going up with a single pilot at the wheel (even initially when learning to fly) that something goes wrong with the pilot. I went up in a helicopter a little while ago and was very concerned to say the least.
There was a case a little while ago about a single engine PPL going up in a large multi engine aircraft and the pilot dieing at the wheel and to make matters worse his wife and kids were in the back. Hed never flown a multi before and certainly not a large multi. He managed to get it down without doing any damage with advice from a type rated pilot on the radio.
    This passanger did very well.

Only found that out now from reading your post.
Sad end to what was a good news story.

Where's the humour here in relation to the pilot actually dying in this incident, I'm trying to see it/find it.

I'm hoping that's just a prank (with the passenger in on the prank!)...if it is not, it's not that :D at all!

Lads seriously cop on, its not funny.

Two warnings issued if you have a problem report it not take matters into your own hands.

    Play nice or get banned.
