If you are trying to dim it its just a simple twist of the battery cap iirc.

Don't think they do any other modes?

I'm not from Cork, but I still know how to work these:P
Hold the main body of the lamp and unscrew the head of the lamp ever so slightly. This puts it into selective mode. Then depress the switch halfway to go through the 3 different settings. To select the mode you want, fully depress the switch when it is at that brightness. The lamp remembers the last used mode if you just depress it fully afterwards. It always comes on in full brightness, if the head of the lamp is screwed tight.

Hi slim thanks for replying but does it blink or something when going through the different modes? Also when adjusting the square beam as it says to do in the manual when I have it clearly seen on a wall the head is a bit loose from twisting it to adjust it

It doesn't blink. Just half depress the switch (and keep it down) . If that is the brightness you want, then press it on the rest of the way and it will stay in this mode. If not half press it again till the desired brightness comes on. In regards the loose head you proberly just have it screwed off too much. They say to adjust it off a wall about 10m away untill you have a nice shaped beam. When I adjust mine I can clearly see the profile of the LED on the wall. Pm me your details if you want help.
