    Hi all,
My little fella's just learnt how to cycle, can anyone recommend good places where we could go cycling together thats safe for a 6yr old and fairly flat! I don't want to bring him out on the road at the min. :)

You could go down the canal walk by the River Nore beside the castle grounds. Nice flat and wide path the whole way down. Not that long a cycle mind you

It'd be long enough for a six year old. Same down the meadows. You could also bring him around the ring road on the cycle path.

As well as the walk beside the castle grounds, what is more suitable is the nore linear walk.

It has two paths and its all lit up until 10pm's so you could even use it during the darker evenings if you wished

Cool thanks for the great suggestions, we're out near c'comer and it's either uphill or downhill country roads! Not great for a newbie cyclist! ;)
