Deloitte Tax calculator is very handy OP. Just enter your details and you'll see what you should be paying in tax, usc, etc.

It totally depends on how many hours you get: at that wage, there's a lot of tax difference between 35 and 45 hours per week - and every few min wage jobs are a nice round 40 hours/week.

Why didn't you just use the calculator linked above?

According to that, you should get €323 a week, assuming a 52 week working year where you're paid for holidays.

Use the calulator SeaFields linked to or one of the hundreds of others.

There is no straight forward answer -there are a lot of variables that make a difference, such as if you are married, have children, have maintenance payments, opt to pay your LPT via salary, when in the year you start work (you may have unused credits), additional credits you may be allocated due to illness/diability, if you pay a pension or have health insurance, taxsaver commuter tickets, flat rate expense allowances etc etc etc.

Use one of the calculators to put in your own relevant details and then you can get a good idea of what you will come out with after deductions.
