Possible to retun oil. ?

    Any body know is it possible to return oil ?

    My Dad filled the tank at his house a week before he died last year. Over a grands worth. Its just sitting idolessly begging to be stolen :( ?

    I dont live in the area anymore, so I cant take it myself.

    Generally they won't take returns.

    Put it on done deal for 70c and see what happens.

    Empty houses still require heat, unless you intent selling and can be sure of the sale before winter kicks in then i would think twice about getting rid if it all.

    I am sorry about your loss.

    It might be worth giving the oil company a ring. They might not be able to refund the money at this stage but the may remove the oil and put it into your tank or another family members tank.

    I was able to get this done when I moved.

    cheers for replies, I understand damp, was a chippie for 13 years, bank will be taking back the house, hence Id rather reclaim the oil !

    Take the bucking plumbing, doors, windows, wiring and sockets, and don't forget to leave a very large gift for them in the toilet pan. ;)

    Very good, but take the sanitary ware and leave the gift where the toilet bowl was :P
