I love articles like this, when they in one sentence say that its most afordable full frame Nikon camera and they start to compare prices with canon and sonys most expencive cameras...why not compare with 6D???

Hmm... not a lot to get excited about there - a massive leap from 5.5 to 6fps, a 'quiet continuous' mode and improved white balance - not exactly a revolution! I certainly don't see D600 owners upgrading in their droves, but for those thinking of upgrading from DX to FX, the D600 is one hell of a good camera to start with.

The downside unfortunately is that apparently the sensor collects dirt like a doormat so I fear the D610's reputation could be tarnished, but let's hope they've fixed it this time round. Having said that though, I've been shooting with the D600 since last year and haven't had to clean the sensor once - I must have got one of the good ones.

Just got the D600 and really happy with it so far. There is a lot online about the dust/oil issue but equally a lot saying it was first batches only. Either way I got a great deal on it and have a 2 year Nikon warranty.

So far so good, its such a difference to shoot full frame. Loving shooting in black and white with my 50mm 1.8.

I was aware the D610 was coming but didnt see enough of a change to warrant waiting nor paying a bit more as it will be full RRP.

Once I get my battery grip this week (Pixel from Amazon) Ill be over the moon.

One thing for D600 users I put a memory card in it straight from my D3200 and it was a little slow. But if you format the memory card using the camera its very speedy.

Price drop on the D600. Down to £1209 GBP on Amazon. A perfect time to go Full Frame ;)
