You'll have to set it up to appear as a device which is supported on the network. Speak to some members of DUCSS or Pirates, they'll be able to help.

Haven't tried it, but this should work
    1. Download Google Chrome from the App Store
    2. Press the menu at the top right
    3. Go to tools -> developer tools
    4. Small window should pop up at the bottom. Press the settings wheel at the bottom right
    5. Go to the 'Overrides section'
    6. Check the box 'User Agent'.
    7. Change the option under that box to 'other'
    8. Type in 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:21.0) Gecko/20130331 Firefox/21.0'
    9. Check the box 'enable'

Now leave that small window open at the bottom, and try to register for the network. It should just auto register you. Then you can close the window and stay connected.

Thanks for the replies. http://blog.secnet.at/?p=473 I am in the middle of trying the second method on this page to spoof mac addresses but I have a tonne of updates to do on my laptop before I can connect to the wifi. Should know by tomorrow whether it will work or not.

Out of curiosity, which part of my method didn't work? I don't have the RT so couldn't try it myself. Sorry

You can't get chrome on the RT. Not supported unfortunately.
