From an AMA with Greg Garcia at Reddit earlier this week..
I shot a single camera pilot recently called Super Clyde starring Rupert Grint that didn’t get picked up, but I’m very happy to say that CBS is going to put it on the internet on October 9th — both on CBS.com and a bunch of other places. I was really happy with the way it turned out, so I’m excited people are going to see it. The Millers is taking up a lot of my time right now, but I do have a few things in development that I’m supervising. They are all in the early stages.

While I wasn't wowed by Garcia's new show, "The Millers", I do think this pilot sounded promising.. and it's unfortunate that CBS passed on it.

But Greg Garcia (Raising Hope, My Name Is Earl) is a very solid writer and the cast is damn decent too and includes Rupert Grint, Stephen Fry (YES, THAT Stephen Fry) and Tyler Labine.

I had been hoping both of Garcia's shows would be picked up. I'm a big fan of his. Look forward to watching this pilot all the same...

    Yep, looking forward to it!

You know what bothered me in "The Millers" more than anything? That bloody laugh track!

I think it's a given on a CBS comedy but the likes of "Hope" and "Earl" work so well without it.

I quite enjoyed The Millers, but I'd probably agree with you re: the laugh track - would've been better without it...
CBS don't have a laugh track on We Are Men or The Crazy Ones though, but I think they're exceptions. In general they go for the canned laughter.
