Glueing wood (where can I go to get it done?)

Just wondering where I could go to get some pieces of wood glued together? I was sent a present which was damaged, and a smaller piece of wood acting like a shelf designed to hold a bottle of spirits had come off. It's quite small, about 9cm long at the connecting part with a depth of 3cm. It's still a straight edge and fits in place. I would be willing to give it a go myself but would prefer not to damage the gift if possible

If you are near me I could do it for you, or just ask in any woodworking shop. As it is a straight edge it should be an easy enough job to do your self just put a bit of wood glue on both pieces and clamp them together not too tight just enough to hold them then wipe off any excess. If the piece has to hold a bit of weight like the bottle I would use epoxy resin to glue them you can get it in most DIY shops and it comes in two syringes that you mix together.
