Radio text on car stereos..

    Just a few questions. on my car now..2012 passat. the radio text seems a bit random. one time it displays the name of the show, another time it come up with the next show thats on and then another time it will display the name of the song playing. are they all like this or do they have a mind of there own??

    for instance it may display the name of the song, then 3 minutes after the song is over its still displaying the name. So if i press the ststion button again the new songs name comes up. does it take a while to recognize the songs or what? any expierences people????

    Its entirely down to the station and what info they send out. Some do nothing. Others give the name of the program and a few do songs etc.

    It should change with the song if the info is being sent but its possible it doesnt pick up the changes all the time.

    good so its not just mine!!:D like the song could be playing and it displays it then the dj does there bit, a new song comes on and its still displaying the last song. agggggh. but as i said if i push say the 2fm button again it updates to the new song title. i shouldnt have to do that. half thinking of knocking off the text altogether.
