Hey Chris,

Thanks for the quick response. What caught my eye was the THX and along with the extra zone (although I may never use it) and the slight extra bit of wattage per channel. I had my eye on the 616 for a while after doing a lot of research and it seemed to tick the boxes. Will you be getting any 616's in or are they all end of line now?

Unfortunately that is the end of them as Onkyo have no more stock and the 626 is the new model.

THX used to be something that a lot of people asked for with less and less looking for it now.

I would suggest the Pioneer VSX923 as we have this at just £349.95 at the moment and for a new 2013 model, this is the best deal that we would have price wise.

Alternatively the 626 is also £349.95 but for my money, the Pioneer is a better buy.

We also have the new Yamaha RXV575 which is £399.95 which is a dark horse and a seriously good receiver for the money.

I am looking at building a lowish budget setup (building bit by bit)with decent specs, I am also in need an active sub to compliment the above 515. What would you guys be able to do/suggest?
I was looking at the Monitor Audio VW8 (which would accompany some floor standers down the line).
