Hardwareversand sent used item

    Received a delivery this morning. Felt like Christmas seeing the boxes arrive and was looking forward to a build on my weeks holidays. Open up my motherboard box, which looked like it had seen better days, to find nothing supporting the board in place, some small holes in the anti static bag, the block protecting the cpu pins missing, some thermal compound on the cpu retention square and in or two accessories missing. This wasn't a cheap board either.
    I've sent them an email but anyone have anything like this happen before?
    Beyond unprofessional

    That's pretty bad. Give them a call. They have English speakers.

    I assume you didnt order "Special Item"? They're B stock/used.

    Hmm, question:

    Using that 5-10% discount tip in a thread a page or so back... it mentions using geizhals.de - does this also include them "Special Item(s)" ?

    Even if it was, not shipping with a socket protector is pretty bad form.

    Yeah there are many special items on HWVS which are returned used items that have a small discount on them. Maybe you ordered one by mistake.

    Happened to me as well, sent a used mb for my first build. They quickly replaced. They apologized and told it was the warehouse.
