Got cows scanned today, 4 out of 32 empty. These 4 are to be culled as I have a couple of good heifers I`d like to use instead so I`m thinking of fattening the culls over the winter. Is this a viable option? and what feed would ya recommend I give them?

    Far too expensive an option.
6wks meal and get them away ASAP!

Sell them live. Wean the calves and get rid as soon as. It's not worth fattening them. Leave it another couple of weeks and there will be a desperate glut of culls for sale
