    Hi all,

I will prob be inheriting around HALF of 30 ish acres of forestry within the near future from my father. Included in this will be the family house (nobody living there anymore). The forest is about 6 years old (if that makes any difference). I am not a farmer and do not hold any farming qualifications etc.

I am worried that when the time comes, I will get stuck will a large inheritace tax bill. We had the entire farm and house valued a few months ago and the auctioneer valued the the lot at €100,000 ish.

Can anyone advise on any tax liabilities I may get stung with?
