one parent family allowance

Hi everyone

Long story short, my girlfriend was out of the coutnry for 31 days this year...according to her form she was only allowed 3 weeks

now these 31 days werent all in one go it was 18 in july and 12 in april i think?

Of course she doesnt want to lie on the form so she told the truth

she has no family here so losing that payment would render her homeless and without any money for her or her child

What are the consequences for this??? any advice or details appreciated

Your girlfriend could not be claiming that payment, she would need to be single.

well we live in different counties, and we are only together 6 months?

how does she need to be single to claim that? im not the childs father

if they cohabit its a different story, But it is mad in this country that once you move in with someone you are expected to pick up the tab.

Yes exactly..she is quite entitled as i do not support her nor does she recieve any maintenance from the father
