Suspect its indicating right, Yank tanks typically (and stupidly) use a red brake light as an indicator.

I'd have to disagree tbh. Red flashing light is much easier to see in bright sunlight. I think they're better than orange

And how do you tell a faulty brake light from a guy indicating!? Irrelevant of the colours and how they are seen (which I agree, but its not that much easier to see) the fact we already use this colour (red) to mean "braking" is why I think its a poor choice to use it for an entirely different message on some cars.

Its not all US cars and certainly not even close all cars in the US, its even more confusing and pointless.

Not a problem in the US, considering it's an offence to have a faulty brake light!

And the only time I've ever seen a situation where a faulty brake light could be confused with the indicator is in the mk2 punto when the rear lights are wired wrong, and the brake light becomes the indicator :P

I've never aside from that seen a brake light blink at a frequency that could be confused for indicating.

And it's also solved by the fact indicating has no legal basis, it's only advisory.

Two vintage V8 monster, american muscle cars, and we're talking about the merits of orange and red indicator lights! Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

One of them has to be MCMLXXV's old motor!

Orange light is just less filtered light and would be easier to see ;)

These trans ams could be improved by converting to lpg, or better still by electrifying.
