Cost price vs selling price

Hey guys I've had Ramsey since the beginning of ff and I'm thinking of letting him go in the next few weeks to find more of a differential since his ownership is basically 50% now, depending on his performances of course. He's now worth 6.6 and I bought him for 5.5, I understand that you have to sell players for a little less than cost, but .6 seems excessive surely?

Anyone know the reason for this massive gulf in cp and sp?

Half the increase, rounded down. So if someone goes up by 1.1 million, half is .55 million and round down to .5 million. SO you get .5 million on top of what you paid.

You get half of what you make on him. So at £6.5 you would get back on £6m. Every time he jumps £0.2 you make £0.1 'profit'. So when he gets to £6.7 your selling price for him rises to £6.1. It's a great system IMO. If you got the full value of a rise it would be too beneficial and turn it into a trading game.

This can prob be moved to the Price Increases thread.
