    It's been a while since I made a machine and my current set-up is a HP HDX (dragon), which has been running fine for the last 5 years. I'm looking to upgrade quite substantially and am interested in performance and specification to last me a good few years, so I'd appreciate any help.

    1. What is your budget? [€1000 or up to €1300]

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/HTPC/Internet] - mainly Eve and more strategic although team fortress gets an outing

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes - might as well move to Win 8]

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? [No]

    5. Do you need a monitor? [Yes]

    5a. If yes, what size do you need. [22 and upwards]

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? [Keyboard/Mouse/Card Reader/Speakers]

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? [Yes]

    8. How can you pay? [Bank Transfer/Credit Card/Laser]

    9. When are you purchasing? [In 14 days]

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? [Dublin City]
