Hi, I have a problem with my 2000 VW Bora, Recently i find it hard to get it into any gear, i have changed the slave, and bled the system but to no avail, the car never slips in gear and always has power when needed, could it be the clutch???

Is it petrol model or diesel.?

Could be the release bearing and if it's the diesel model with the dual mass flywheel the rubber between the inner and outer assemblies could be cracked. If this is the case you will feel a little thump when starting and stopping the car. Best bet put in a solid fly wheel and clutch. They are not that expensive. A cheap fix to try would be to drain the gear oil and replace with fresh oil makes a big difference.

This wont be a problem in the gearbox . You are almost certainly looking at a fault with the dual-mass flywheel causing a drag on the clutch disc and not allowing the engine to fully disengage from transmission and not allowing you to select gear.
The only way out of this is to replace the Dualmass flywheel and clutch completely, which won't be cheap, or alternatively replacing with a solid flywheel conversion and clutch kit, which will keep costs down for you.
