Ive a batch of cows and heifers ive synchronised for bulling next week. i'm trying a bit of a mixed experiment involving different breeds. throw opinions in if you have any and i'll try and have a conclusive list for the ai man . Eurogene bulls
    heres the list:
muscly third calver bb cow. limo stock bull
third calver white char cow. owz sim bull
Red sim fourth calver cow.Snx part bull
mousey coloured char/angus cow with balls of milk. ulh inra bull
big black limo/hr heifer, good big square animal. Vul part bull
Red limo heifer out of a blue cow. 360-70 kg, would like her a bit bigger ut putting a shorthorn bull aaw for a nice roan heifer hopefully.
red sim/ limo heifer. aaw shorthorn bull.
massive red limo/sim second calver. tut charlaois bull.
five black limo heifers out of british friesains. all around 400kg. i'm putting 2 to speckled park s804
    1 aa jyk
    2 aa htv.

i want real easy calving on the heifers this year hence the choice in some of the bulls. i'll be putting char and blues on a lot of the other cows.

360-370kg heavy enough in my opinion, wouldn't worry about it. Have 9 months to grow

Interesting to see your putting speckle park into your lim/fr, should be a good cross. Have you used it before or just trying this year? Seem to be good maternally, not sure paternally. Are you using it for replacement? How do they go in the mart?

I don't know if I'd use aa. Nice for ease of calving but will take a hit on sale value. Have used OSI on first Calvers here and they literally cough them out. Be a nice cross

Only seen speckled park at the shows not sure how they will go but sure it's worth a shot.

you could be onto something there. Personally would like the look of them for replacements with their ease of calving. Crossed with the limousin they should bring milk too. Interesting to see how it goes for you

You have snx down for on cow. He is a mighty impressive looking bull but nearly everyone I've talked to has been disapointed. Maybe use vul on her instead?

Our own AI man used him a bit and maintains the very same. I was gonna AI a cow to SNX and he put me off the idea.

We use Eurogene ourselves, the bull choice can be a bit limited. For a long time they were poor on a Lim suitable for heifers. We usually bought straws for this job ourselves.
The Ch ain't the strongest lineup either.
On the other hand both ABI the Lim and KFY the simm bred very well for us.
ABI is some bull, but not easy calved.

ABI won't disappoint on a mature cow.

Seen pedigree calves off SNX pure sh1te and these cows bred good calves off every other PT bull used on them. Neighbour giving out that he's Not one bit happy with his PT calves off his limo cows. Does his own AI, only got straws off one bull - SNX

I put Kilmoney Bruce in my two best cows this year ... Never used blonde before .. Will be interesting . I still have a Part (sirex) 18 month heifer .. Best day she ever looked was when she filled out with muscle 3wks - 3 months ... Went off the boil then , was a stumpy , light boned bad coloured weanling then .. I won't be using part anytime soon again

Why are you thinking about that INRA bull, for you mousey Charolais cow?
Never saw an INRA animal in the flesh!

Experiment. Same cow threw a 460 kg chat lapis bull at 8 months last year. She has a watery bb calf this year. I'm running a blonde bull on all the repeats
