Nice bottle of red/white wine?

Hello,

I'm going to a dinner party type thing later on and want to buy a bottle of wine for host. I know nothing about wine, so my question...
Can anyone recommend a nice bottle of red or white that comes in at about e10? I'll be going to Tesco in Dundrum if that helps.

Tesco have a Crozes Hermitage reduced to €12 at the moment. I find it to be excellent value and very nice.

I think anybody would be very pleased to get that wine. Must head to Tesco's myself!

I can still see it.
I think it's the only Crozes Hermitage that Tesco sell.
