Well as some of you already know, our old base back in Bridgefoot Street was lost as the landlord went into liquidation and his bank refused to renew any lease, we lost a base, many lost their homes! 2 years later and the city center mixed-use development is still unoccupied - something is rotten in the state of Ireland for sure! (I wonder how many MA clubs have suffered the same luck since the crash?)

We have been itinerant martial artists since then, hosted mainly by UCD's Tai Chi Club for which we are grateful.

Finally we have found a new home at

The Santry Hall Arena, Unit 6, Santry Hall, Dublin 9

    Class times are:
    Mon & Thurs: 7.30-9pm and Sat 10-11.30am

some of what we do: (isolated a single application / principle below, and hopefully communicate how the system knits together?)

    some kick counters:

expanding on one of those, "single sweep lotus leg":

    the "tui Shou" training drill:

    with weapons:

The above is some of our training methods, I hope it is evident how different "ranges" of combat are addressed with unified principles and methods, making Wudang a complete martial art, so a single mindset can be maintained in the "immediacy of combat" where "having to think" = failure, with the varying, dependent on situation consequence of such failure.

All levels are welcome AND CATERED FOR. no need to fear the full-contact reputation (as is pretty obvious from training methods, we don't feed you to sharks!) - no one was born a fighter, we were all made!!! Wudang hope to encourage success, the fulfillment of your ambitions! (They tend to change with confidence btw! ;))

Training ranges from forms designed to train body method and martially correct reflexive counters and recovery options:

to Sanshou sparring and competitions to those interested:

    Some old old Wudang stuff:

Cheng Tin-hung (my teacher's teacher) at the start of the Shaw Brothers film "The Shadow Boxer" demonstrating some TCC applications:

Here he is again in 1957 with some students training in a park in HK:

A good demo of some of the side effects of our Nei Gung system by the lads from Denmark:

Hope you enjoy, I will be kicking off the Santry classes with this seminar:
