I guess that Jack is going to spent most of the show stuck in traffic.

    2 more returning too
    Audrey Raines and Secretary Heller
Wouldnt be too surprised if he was president now.

Put him with the Strike Back team. Jack would crumble before their might.

William Devane is an amazing actor and was brilliant as Heller. Reminds me of Jack Nicholson. Would certainly be a great idea to have him as the President, although he is 76.

This is shaping up to be fantastic. All the old writing and production team back together and quite a few of the old cast who didnt die. I wonder will Tony make an appearance? I am expecting very good things from this return of 24 especially as it's only 12 or 13 episodes.

I'm thinking that it's about time I went back and rewatched all of the series. I gave up around series 3 or 4 when it started to get a little ridiculous but with it all being on Netflix and as such no need to change discs I may spent the next few months working my way through Jack's various bad days.

He was the President in The Dark Knight Rises (albeit very briefly), so i think he can pull it off.
I cant wait to see what its like, as long as it has loads of Jsck kicking ass i will be happy.

I stopped watching halfway during Season 6 as it was sh1t. Is it worth getting back into for the final two seasons?

Season 5 is by a mile the best. In fact I would say it's one of the finest seasons of any show I have ever watched. To be able to keep up such high quality for 24 episodes was remarkable. The suspense and brilliantly executed twists and turns made for incredible TV. It's no wonder 24 won the Emmy for best drama series for it's fifth season. Season 6 was woeful stuff however (apart from the opening couple of episodes). 7 was a big improvement in my view although I have mixed feelings about 8. The first half dragged on and there were some ridiculous sub plots but those final 4-5 episodes were fantastic.

Is it still not clear how these 12 episodes will play out? Will each cover 2 hours or will they just skip random hours to avoid the less interesting stuff? I can defiantly see this being a big enough hit to bring it back again and again - perhaps everything two or three years. It's hard to keep viewers these days for these network shows that are 22-25 episodes. People are much more used to the cable formula of 12 or 13 so I think this will work far better and ensure there is as little filler as possible.
