    Hi

I am a mature student attending a pre nursing course in Ireland. I am receiving the back to education at present. If I go to UK next year to do the degree will I still get the BTEA or can I get a grant for there even though I'm Irish? I am just trying to work out how I can support myself

    Thanks

the way i thought it worked is (and i could be wrong)

I am doing int business and spanish and erasmus in third year is an essential part of the course. as such i am entitled to the btea because i have o go to spain, however i was informed i wouldnt be entitled to it if it wasnt necessary to travel abroad.

hope this helps any, but get onto your swo they will let ya know!
