my current setup is 2 x cdj400s controlling traktor, internal mixer using xsession pro with a reloop play 24bit audio interface instead of the cdjs built in one as my external mixer broke while back.

anyways, i was using the exact same setup with a NI audio2dj with no problems whatsoever, but with the reloop, soon as i plkug it in i get crazy interference / static noise. i have re installed drivers a few times and if i plug it into my pc it works perfectly.

from what i have seen online, its sounds like an earth ground loop, but all the online stuff i have seen say it will dissapear if i remove the laptop plug, mine doesnt.

anyone any idea what i can do? cheers

A post of mine on this topic a few years. It sorted the problem for me on a lappy when travelling. Not sure if your issue is more complex.

I remember seeing a similar post while back and the OP solved the issue by plugging the laptop into it's own socket rather than using a power bar. Of course you may be using the laptop on its own socket already.

In my set-up it sits between the interface and my mixer. I'm playing live so it's a regular mixer rather than a DJ mixer. In most places I don't need it but occasionally I play some old venue and it comes into service.

no joy, the ground loop isolater does nothing.

on a bit more info digging, i find a load of threads on the reloop forums saying their gear doesnt really work with amd laptops..

cheers for the fookin heads up u kunts.. why dont they put that on the packaging...

anyways, im just gonna flog off my audio interface on adverts or try swap it..

if anyone has an audio interface let me know.

no bother, thanks for the advice anyways.

i put all my music onto portable hd so can still mess around at home with exact same setup but off the dekstop instead of laptop.

    stupid reloop.
