Samsung tv with sony sorround sound

    Hello,

    Looking for some advice:

    Samsung UE40ES6300 smart tv
    Sony DAV S550 sorround sound,

    I want to use the sorround sound speskers instead of my tv speakers.
    I feel i have tried every combination but nothing

    Dvds no problem

    Please help....

    Are they connected to each other using a digital optical cable?

    Im trying not to give stupid answers here. :(

    Im using one yellow cable for the picture which works no problem playing dvds

    There is no hdmi or scart connection, think its looking to use those cables with the different colour ends on them

    There is currently no audio connection between your TV & AV system: use a digital optical cable, already mentioned above.

    Also, replace your yellow composite video lead with a component video lead, as this should deliver better quality picture.

    Darren, you need to upload your images to the net before you can embed them!

    The yellow cable doesn't carry any audio, only composite (CVBS) video. Optical cable is the only choice for audio, as the only analogue audio out on this tv is the headphone socket.
