Sure you don't need to buy every aeg:-)
The basics of aeg gearboxes are basically the same with most GB types.

Suppose thats true, ive had most of the gearboxes and had hands on its just the odd one that pops up, but im mainly looking for gbb rifle stuff, like downgrading and the likes

Coolio. Not into the GBb's myself, so I'm sure someone more qualified will point you in the right direction:-)

From my own experience with GBBR's they are relatively easy, if you have a good mechanical apptitude you will fly through them after watching some tutorials, definitely more enjoyable working with a GBBR than an AEG imo.

Some are easier to work on than others, naturally all depends on brand and what model rifle it is.

Once you know about them you have a rough idea, downgrading can be done with a fixed set FPS valve or a NPAS system or similar. It is nothing a bit of research will not fix, I knew nothing to begin with but after I looked up and learned about them (WE GBB's mainly) it was handy after a while, pretty much like everything you have a go at first.

Most systems are different but the basic operation remains the same at the end of the day. Pull the trigger->firing pin(valve knocker) hits the mag valve->gas propels BB via the valve and cycles the bolt carrier->bolt carrier re-sets the firing pin.

Does not matter really about different valves, core basics remain the same. Are you planning on buying some GBBR's?.

Im planning on becoming a tech, i will hope to buy a few to experiment on, preferably cheap working ones to start off and get to know them, its the only type of gun i havent any experience with and also gas snipers too, want to expand my knowledge so that if a gbbr comes to my bench i wont need to turn it away
