    In Tesco.

I'm a fan of weisbeir in general. Fransikaner etc, Paulaner pretty good too.

Anyway, as per thread title, 4 bottles with free Oktoberfest tanker (fancy pint glass with handle) in Tesco.

I think the glass is pretty cool (the wife, a wine drinker reckons it's ugly though:))

    Bargain imo regardless.

    Enjoy.

They also have Paulaner Oktoberfest bier available on this offer. Not a weissbier (it's a helles), but it's a good opportunity to pick some up.

    Dunno man.

I got mine in Tesco extra, Naas.

I'd imagine they're in all decent sized Tescos, at least.

Dam. I only seen the wheat beer.

You've just given me a good excuse to pick up a new tanker though.:pac:

just tesco, or is it elsewhere too?

When I got it (Cork, last week), there was only one of those promotional case yokies with the Oktoberfestbier. I just swapped out the weissbier from another with 4 single Oktoberfestbier bottles from the fridge, Bonus: cold beer! The weiss/Oktoberfest bottles in the fridge are exactly the same as those in the packs, so there's no issue with this that I can see.

    I bought Oktoberfest beers here.

    http://www.gourmondo.de/g/category/NN2M2500/Bayerisches-Bier.jsf

They got few sets. You can also buy single bottles.

    10 beers + 2 glasses 19.99Euro

P&P is 15Euro flat rate (no matter how many bottles you are ordering) and 10Euro if order is higher than 150Euro.
Good opportunity to share with someone and cut the costs. Delivery is about 5 days.

    PS.

Last year after Oktoberfest price went 50% down. 1Beer - 1Euro.

    None in Tesco Sligo anyways.

I thought you were not allowed buy alcohol from abroad through the postal system or it is extremely limited.

Never had a problem with that. Buying there for last 2 years.

    Ps.

Check the scotch prices for example Glenfiddich. Can you beat that?

Where have you seen them for 1.80? The cheapest I've ever seen Paulaner in Ireland was for 2 euro's on special offer in Lidl. They're normally around the 2.70 mark in most shops

They were 2 euros on lidl and dunnes a few weeks ago. I could be mistaken about the 1.85.

Me neither was there this morning.

They did have Guinness glasses, free with each 8 pack I think, Dunnes were doing the same.

Seen that in tesco too. Guinness glass that you'd get in abundance in any bar in Ireland ha

Tried three Tesco stores in Dublin yesterday (Jervis, Prussia St and Thomas St) and none of them had this available.

This brew of it is very nice too, it has to be said :)

Just in Tesco Wilton, got the 4 for €9 Oktoberfest Paulaner, but no tankard unfortunately.
