could be fuse but after buying a 7740 i was told they have a habit of melting the fuse box, i have removed a melted fuse for work lights, burning smell has stopped now.

havent a clue what the fuses all do had smelt it form time to time but i neever really been driving it and the worker wouldnt have noticed, lost indicators and seen the melted fuse when looking for the indicator flashing unit, then made a point of driving it to see if it had changed. requards melted fuse panel dont know why they do it but was told to look out for it, flasher units are also expensive and a wearing part. otherwise a good alround tractor
