Nissan Almera Tekna??

    Hi all,

I recently purchased a 2004, Nissan Almera, 1.5 petrol, saloon. I trying to figure which kind of Almera it was as I was interested in looking up reviews online etc. They breakdown Almera in S, SX, ES and so on. I looked at my tax book and it is down as an Almera Tekna - but I can't find any such name on any review sites.

There is no badge at the back of the car to tell me whether it is an S, or SX model so I'm kind of stumped.

Does anyone know what a Tekna Almera falls into "letter wise"??

    Cheers

How do you know that? It has front spot lights, electric windows, CD, metallic paint etc... Just wondering

I think they all had that stuff tbh. Fairly good basic spec on them almeras. Does it have a/c dual climate control ?

04 would be equivalent to SX but without the 16 inch alloys. Some late 04s may have had them though.

    Used to sell cars.
The specs you're listing came later. Yours is the facelifted model and has more spec than the pre 03 spec but its still the base model.

I think there was only one trim level in the saloon sold here back then, SE I think which later became the SVE and gained extra equipment but again I think they only ever offered one trim level in the saloon.

The SVE got half pleather, the 16 inch wheels and one or two even had full climate control, i.e. Air conditioning was fitted as opposed to having a small blank round switch where it should have been in the first place on the weird dashboard.

No standard ABS though which was criminal for a supposedly high spec car.
