    How much should a plumber charge to put a back boiler in a typical four bedroom 2 storey house just labour not including materials

    Impossible to say depending on the amount of work required.
    Normal practice is to get three prices from registered plumbers who have seen what's required.


    Cheap cash jobs = no reciept = not covered by insurance = no come back !


    Get 3 prices.
    If your going down the solid fuel route I would strongly recommend a stove as they are way more efficient.

    +1 on everything above.

    and just to stress solid fuel boilers can be very dangerous, potentially lethal in fact if not installed correctly.

    and not every heating system is suitable for connection to solid fuel boilers
