Concrete grooving

    Getting a guy into doing a bit of concrete grooving .have 3 passageways to do measuring in total 180 ft x 34 ft.quoted me 900 .will be cutting down and across leaving small squares.hes at it in neighbours at moment doing parlour passage and slats.what do ye think of that quote,dear,cheap??????.ive nothing to base it on

    I have rang around and got quoted €3.5 plus Vat a sq meter (capital expense so Vat back) from all except 1 who quoted 4.5 plus Vat a sq YARD! No one willing to deal on price, seems expensive. Also all seem to do different square sizes, different depths, different thicknesses. Hard to compare. I think someone was on here one time saying your aswell off doing it yourself with a hired scrabbler.

    Well then it would work out at 1900 for 180 x 34. So it seems the op should be very happy with a price of 900

    Just got quote from guy I met at ploughing from Wicklow 214sq meters all in for 750.hell even take up scraper track and put it back.thats made my mind up
