Just noticed this on eircom website in the support section. Won't affect the majority but just in case:

''eircom will be performing scheduled maintenance of its webmail service from 22:00 on Friday 4th to 09:00 on Saturday 5th October 2013. During this period you will not be able to log into your webmail account .

If you are sent an email during this period, it will be queued for delivery once the scheduled maintenance has been completed. You do not need to do anything to restore the webmail service, it will automatically become available from 09:00 on Saturday 5th October.

The following customers will be affected by this service maintenance:
    • Webmail customers will not be able to log-on.
    • Customers who use their own software will not be able to send mail via mail1.eircom.net''
