    Hey

This isnt a duplicate thread, but I havea different Vehicle Registration Certificate question than above.

Basically I have a car sitting in my drive for the last 10 months. I fully intend to scrap it, and its not going anywhere near the road. Do I need to get a VRC for this? I did read the paragraph on

    http://www.transport.ie/roads/motortax/?loc=2468

and think this might be the case because of the lines

"The new system requires a vehicle owner to declare their vehicle off the road in advance by completing form RF150 Declaration of Non-Use of a Motor Vehicle"

    Thanks in advance

If you are sure the car will never go back on the road you need to do.......... .............................................nothing.:)
You don't need to inform anyone or fill out any forms.
