The best horse in the bumper[Clonmel] by miles is Intheoldays but has the worst jockey ever his dad says he rides. If this horse had a jockey he would win by a distance. This is a serious horse BUT.

Whoever ''they'' are on will be winning just look at connections of the main protaganists.

A O'B has a runner in the maiden hurdle

Son of flicka is running in Bangor tomorrow in the novice chase his hurdle form at Bangor reads 112
You can disregard his form lines last season given he was kept for Cheltenham and got pulled from the card. Not quiet sure if he wasn't well but he is much better than his latest form lines read and it's not going to take a cracking horse to win this race.
6-1 a steal and won't last long with paddy power

Same connections landed a gamble with Flicka Williams at the last Bangor meeting.

Not far away, actually, and I rarely miss a meeting at God's own racecourse!

Are you going tomorrow Billy? Not a bad little card, really looking forward to the Juvenile hurdle.

Big things expected from mccains in the first

Got a lot of love for Son Of Flicka from Cheltenham 2012 but I'll be leaving him well alone tomorrow. Never convinced over fences back in 2009/2010 and McCain certainly gave up with him over the bigger obstacles fairly quickly.

Way too much to prove for me on stable debut for Tony Coyle back over fences and he can go win without my money tbh.

Would be great to see him win though.

Think Jps will win that novice race tomorrow he was a smart novice hurdler until he broke down,Wouldnt be taking a short price on McCains in the first Maguire will probably fall off the thing.

I'll be there tomorrow. Probably going to be a bit wet though. Hope I can stick it out to the end as the Curtis horse in the bumper looks like it could be useful.

I think Woodbank is a cracking each way price in the novice chase 8-1 at the moment dam related to Denman I think. i wassure i saw that in the racing post this morning dont see how though;)

Wouldn't go anywhere near it to be honest.

Who's on the Mullins horse in the bumper? His niece I'm guessing. And more importantly is she fit?

    Found this article from 2012,

    http://www.irishracing.com/news?prid=62843
She is a sister of Emmet Mullins and her father George is a brother of Willie and Tony Mullins.

She is 18 and has quite a bit of experience showjumping and riding out.

    Riding out? G'wan Fiona.

    Today's Lucky 15.

    2:50 - Dursey Sound - 9/4
    3:15 - Courage - 9/2
    4:20 - Magic Money - 13/2
    4:50 - Cloud Brook - evens

    Good luck all!

In the maiden hurdle i like Presenting Beara.Soft/heavy will not be a problem and is bred to stay further. He got a tender ride at Listowel from Mikey Fogerty who rides again today. In the second div of the maiden hurdle Courage is head and shoulders above anything that has run.His 3/4L 2nd to Bayan [131] on soft at Cork looks very decent compared to the favs 2nd to Bridgequarter Girl[109].If there is a danger its the unraced Ram and his breeding would suggest deep ground would be perfect but 9/2 Courage is far to big.

Dursey Sound for me aswell, looked a decent prospect over hurdles after the bumper run behind Annie Power.

Looks good alright. Given son of flicka has gone out to 14's they obviously have no intention of trying today

In that 2.50 race Son Of Flicka was beaten 1/2L by Sir Des Champs some time ago,Id be tempted at 12/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,101 ✭✭✭klairondavis

Sir Des Champs had about a stone in hand that day and would have won by half the track if Emmet Mullins hadn't been asleep for the first mile and a half of the race.

Easy win for Dursey Sound, looked to be a winner from miles out.

Jason McGuire on Kim baileys horse in the 3.50 in Bangor despite McCain having a horse in the race

Nicholls treated him disgracefully after he was injured no loyalty at all the man is a 10 times better than Daryl Jacob.

Excellent front running ride again on Hazy Tom to make it a double. Got a nice breather into him leaving the back and then stayed on powerfully up the straight. He's a top rider.

2 jockeys I really dislike with no other reason other than I've never seen them do anything incredible with an average horse is darryl Jacob and Tom scudamore..

Playtime Ben for me in the next at clonmel

Green ride from Cloud Brook, but it got the job done.

The jockey on Intheoldays my sources tell me his idol is Barry Connell whom he models his style on.
